Children of the Corn scares me. It scared me when I was little and I still don't like it.

I have to agree about the made for TV Salems Lot back in the late 70s or early 80s. The vampire friend tapping on the window while floating outside freaked me out for years.

The Vampire and the Ballerina (1960) A low budget Italian movie that would be laughable today.
Homicidal (1961) Kind of a Psycho rip off by William Castle. I still like it though.

I would have been about eight or nine when I saw these movies in the theater. Back then, these movies would have been pretty intense for a kid. Both of them kept me awake at night. Most of you youngsters have probably never heard of these.
Abandon hope all ye who enter here.

    "Dead of Night" (1945).
A British film made by the Ealing studio's, more famous for their comedies.
The film is a collection of tales, linked by a central theme...the forerunner of movies in the old Amicus format like "Creepshow" , "Tales from the Crypt" and of course "Trick r Treat"

Although extremely tame by todays standards, it remains a genuinely eerie and unsettling film and caused me more than a few lost hours of sleep when I was a child.

The Blob, after seeing that movie when I was a kid, I was always looking at the air vents in the house to make sure no Blob goo was coming out of them!!
