My favorite titles to watch at this time of year are (in no particular order):
    Hocus Pocus
    Dracula (1931)
    Frankenstein (1931)
    The Wolfman (1941)
    Killer Klowns from Outer Space
    Shaun of the Dead
    Nightmare Before Christmas
    Beetlejuice
    Evil Dead Movies
    Poltergeist
    Wes Craven's New Nightmare
    The Fog (1979)
    An American Werewolf in London
    Young Frankenstein
    The Shining
    Halloween
    Corpse Bride
Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit

In addition, I love delightfully fun and/or bad older B-movies (even better if they have Lugosi, Karloff, Cheney Jr., Price or any other legendary horror star), so my usual October movie list is the above with whatever films the cable networks show. Considering I just purchased Trick 'r Treat this afternoon and I'm going to watch it tonight, that might be another one to add to the list.

Mind you, I watch these movies year round, but this month I tend to watch a horror/Halloween themed film almost every night.

Add "Fright Night" to your Must See list. And, as a Zombie lover, you gotta see "Dead Heat". It's a Cop/Buddy movie in which one of the cops turns into a Zombie. Hilarious!
    Wolfman

No need for Halloween III to be a guilty pleasure, it's a lot better than any of the other sequels.
You'll have money and all that money can buy.

I think more people would like it if it wasn't part of the Halloween series.
