12. Quarantine..I really like this movie. I just need to get past the stupidity factor of the people in it or the writers who left ginormous holes for possible escapes or at least survival. 6/10
13. Night of the Living Dead 1990 version. This was a pretty good remake. Nothing could compare with the original but I was really satisfied with this as an alternate. The dead guy walking with his shoes on backwards and no back to his suit in the beginning was hysterical. I'd say 7/10"Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the floor each morning the devil says,"Oh Crap, She's up!"

8. Oct. 7 - Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood.
This one didn't age well in my eyes. The characters were really just cardboard....more so than normal. The kills were good and Jason looked all rotted and cool.......so I guess that IS the point.

8. The Woods (2006). 3/10 Teenage delinquent witches and unscary killer trees..Agnes Bruckner spends the entire film looking bored out of HER tree..As did I.
I thought I'd give a bit of "modern" a chance last night as this was on Five US as part of their "Shocktober" season. It's back to the Classics for me tomorrow.

I haven't seen this since I saw it as a kid on a local channel on Saturday afternoon around Halloween. I didn't really think it would be all that good but to my surprise it was quite good, maybe Hooper’s best film. Great carnival atmosphere, good direction, realistic characters, and a nice monster design. Though a lot of people think of this as a slasher film, it’s really not at all. I highly recommend it.You'll have money and all that money can buy.
