For me I saw Mimic (for one good reason Mira Sorvino!)and "Seven"
After that, nothing scares me.
But I haven't seen the SAW series yet.
And I still can't watch Creepshow since I saw it as a kid![]()

These didn't cure me but they did make more "aware" in certain surroundings...
Texas Chainsaw Massacre- we had to go look at a vehicle for hubby and the house it was at was in the middle of nowhere, old and creepy. I think I lasted a whole 5 minutes before I begged him to go. It had that eerie silence.
Blair Witch Project- Made me afraid to go in the woods. I was actually afraid to go in my own backyard at night after I saw it. Even funnier I was a 20 something adult when I saw it...lol
Silence of the Lambs-ROFL would not walk through my house without every single light on at night for about a month or so.
I'm sure there's more but that's all I'm willing to admit to. Can you believe I still torture myself with these movies. It's a love hate-relationship but I am a bit older and just a tad wiser.

Two movies that scared me actually deal with the same topic. I have always had problems watching The Exorcist and the newer movie The Exorcism of Emily Rose made me afraid every time I woke up at 3 AM!!!
As I was going up the stair, I saw a man that wasn't there.
He wasn't there again today...Oh how I wish he'd go away.

For me, being scared during a movie is a love/hate relationship. I love the thrill of the suspense but it drives me crazy at the same time! I also love when a movie is so good it scares the dickens out of me.
So I'd have to so no movie has actually cured me of beings cared again and I hope one never does
It's Halloween, what more do you need to know.

I haven't been scared by a movie, but sickened by a few. Uwe Bolls awful horror called Seed made me feel ill. In the opening credits it features footage of real animal torture snuff, being watched by the psycho. PETA gave the director the footage probably because he donated money but this does not support animal rights at all, it's purely used for sick entertainment purposes, if you love animals don't watch this movie it'll give you nightmares for weeks.
There was also a scene of a baby being held captive and starved to death and then he was watching is decompose, a scene where an elderly woman has her head slowly bashed in with a hammer until there is nothing left. I'm surprised it wasn't banned or even heavily cut. I couldn't watch the animal torture bit or the entire movie.
For me I like my horror to be fantasy stuff supernatural and monsters, I'm not a fan of torture porn. I feel it does more damage than good and just promotes violence because it's more realistic.

The only movie that I can say truly scared me was Grizzly. I believe I was about 7 years old when I saw it on the bigscreen with my Dad. I remember not wanting to go to sleep that night so I believe that fits the criteria.
Since that movie I cant say a movie has actually scared me, although I cant say I have not jumped on occasion (I only wish this would happen more).2011 Ultimate Spider, click below

The movie Fire In The Sky scared me when I was younger and it still gives me chills to this day. Every time I see something flying in the sky I'm always terrified that the UFO is going to come down to abduct me.
