Thread: Things in Horror Movies that Annoy you...

This thread was on another of my social communities and it cracked me up!!!

Al of us that are HARD CORE Horror people definitely have opinions on this so let's hear them...

My all time favorite.....

Throw the kids out the front door to go get help and ME (being chased by the killer) will run upstairs and hide in the slatted closet

That anytime someone has to run to get away.... they fall. Several times. Or run into something.

Frankie, oooh that really annoys me too, I shout "get up you stupid tart" at the tv... Why is it always women! then again I'm kinda clumsy, so if I'm ever in a situation where I'm being chased by a Monster. Knowing me I'd end up doing the same thing.

Also the fact people get killed and eaten by slow moving zombies bugs me too...just run! also get lots of supplies, weapons and find a secure building and not some run down house!

Kick out.. the one typical selfish character who joins your survival group. They're only going to end up locking themselves 0n the basement, at some point when the zombies eventually break in. Saving their own neck first leaving you all to die at the hands of the snail paced corpses. It'll be best to feed him to the zombies at the beginning of the movie.

I hate those "Gotcha" scares. You know, something springing up making the viewers jump. To me, that's a cheap scare. Hate 'em.

I gotta go with the runners that fall.

Also people that do stupid things in movies like taking a bath or shower when one knows there's a killer out there, or the little kid in The Blob that shoots at the blob with his cap pistol.

heheheh Rule #?--no matter how fast you run, or how much of a head start you have--- the slow, shambling monster (Zombie) WILL catch up with you--

Exactly! I hate those too. My fave type of scares are those that make you so tense it can freak you out.

Also, I know it's cliche, but when they run upstairs instead of outside. OK they tried the door ONCE and the chain was on.......take it off and try again!!

How about, let's go drunk swiming in the middle of the night with no one around. Sounds like a good idea to me.
