    That's what I heard as well, I just can't believe that they didn't make an official announcement at Comic Con, seems like that would have been the perfect time to do so.

    Oops.

    Yes DVD/Blu-Ray. I heard that it might still get some limited release in theatres, but I'm guessing my first shot at it, like most folks' will be on a disc. I am supremely glad to finally be able to see it.

    Warner Home Video has issued final specs and cover art for its DVD and Blu-ray releases of the much-awaited TRICK ’R TREAT, which writer/director Michael Dougherty first discussed with us here. The discs, which street October 6, will present the movie in both fullscreen and 16x9-enhanced 2.4:1 widescreen.

    Just wondering how gory this movie is. Does anyone have an idea? It didn't look too bad by the trailer.

    I haven't seen it yet but it is rated R for horror violence, some sexuality/nudity and language.

    I think some at Warner’s had a problem with some of the "horror violence" happening to children in the film.

    I don’t imagine it to be a splatter-fest or anything but it is rated R for a reason. I guess it just depends on what you think of as gory.

    I just heard about this movie yesterday. I was hoping it would have theatrical release. From what I hear it's a really good movie so I'll check it out.
