    Invasion of the Body Snatchers

Dolores Claiborne. I know that this one probably doesn't count, but it is sometimes categorized as horror. I don't consider it horror, but it is my favorite movie based on a Stephen King book. It is full of memorable quotes, but my favorite is after Dolores's abusive husband, Joe, has hit her in the back with a big piece of wood. Later on she hits him hard in the head and threatens him with an ax. Then she throws the ax in Joe's lap and says,

"Go on. All I ask is that you do it quick. And don't let Selena see the mess when it's over. You wanna run me down, you go right ahead. You can be as mean and hurtful as you want. But this is the last time you will ever hit me. You do it again, one of us is goin' to the boneyard."

"My Bloody Valentine" 3D on DVD.
    An early Christmas pressie.
I gave this a miss at the cinema. as they weren't showing the 3D version.

Lame story and OTT on the gore generally.

*Baron's Top Tip*...Don't try eating a Chinese meal whilst wearing 3D glasses, unless you want to end up festooned in noodles and ankle deep in rice...

    The Haunting in Connecticut---6/10

Carriers----3/10 Big disappointment. No beginning, no story, no plot and no ending. The only thing good I can say about this movie was the acting, which was decent. Its no wonder this movie went direct to video.

District 9 (not strictly speaking a horror movie, but good anyway)
