I watched The Entity for the first time in a while. Still disturbing.. I don't think it could be made to day without being really offensive.

We tried watching the Tobe Hooper remake of Invaders from Mars yesterday. Egads, it was awful!
Something we want to see, but Zone Horror had it on at flamin' 1 a.m. last night, is Mexican Werefwolf in Texas.

I also liked The Descent. Let's see....I watched Otis and The Cottage this weekend. Enjoyed both of them. I don't know if either was really a horror film though. At least by my standards.

One of the many reasons I enjoy The Descent is because it's British cast aren't the stereotypical British London accents! I know it's a weird reason, but I'm sick of the English stereotype. hardly any of us over here talk like that except those from London, and not even all those do!
It's tense, it has a lovable cast, gripping storyline and on-screen action.
Anyway, it is really one of the only recent horrors I have actually enjoyed. The majority just seem to be going downhill, and don't take effect on me anymore.
I think it's a good one to get someone that has never really watched horror into the genre, before unleashing a few classics on them. Do you guys agree?
I will most certainly have her watching more of my older films!
