Thread: Project Greenlight's "Feast"?

Anyone going to see it when it's available?
After watching all of these shows (in this one movie's creation," Feast") I almost begin to wonder if this reality show was staged somewhat sometimes just to give the camera something to consider?
The last show, the movie is all wrapped, editing remaining, them after just a few days everyone wants to see "The Movie"!?
But the movie isn't really done yet?
They spend tremendous amounts of time saying how one guy, "Weinstein" will have all the power of making or breaking this new movie upon whether or not he likes it or not. After all of this build up, Weinstein tells the guy we are looking at via the Greenlight camera-person to take the camera from the room as he gives his opinion about the movie!??? (over the phone )
My wife said no matter what, these guys will be praising the movie now, hoping to make people go see it, no matter what they personally think of the movie.
Of course my big question is:Is John Gulager just an actor pretending to be a bumbler and an "Everyman" sort of guy(with some movie-making talent)?
Did they pick him because they felt more average people would tune in to the TV show because John seemed so inept and such an ordinary insecure common bumbler?
When he pulled up at the fancy Hollywood hotel driving a 1964 Junkyard Lincoln was when I started wondering all of this, wuz we being "Had"?

But then, it's all and only "Entertainment" and alot of what passes for entertainment is built upon fabrication.......oh well?

*sigh* I really cannot say whether I will go to see it or not. I have completely stopped watching the show all together becuase I got so tired of them screwing every thing up. I may just wait for it to come to HBO or something. All depends on how I am feeling when the movie comes out. Right now, I am pretty dissappointed in the whole thing.

Will someone let me know how the season finally goes? I just cannot watch it anymore I get so peeved when I watch it now.

The big, important "decision-makers" choosing, then being extremely negative about their own choices, not good.
"Covering their OWN butts for whichever, whatever happens this way.
"See! I told you!" Will then fit because they told you yes and no, good and bad.
I sure wouldn't want to try to do any sort of creative work under a regime such as what I saw.

Man, I wouldn't either! From the minute they let the exects in on that project, and they chose that crappy script, the whole thing was a disaster.
