    Default What's the NEXT Horror Film you're gonna watch?

    Here's a twist on a very popular thread here...

    I ordered a Deluxe Bluray Pac from amazon.com earlier this week. Eight discs with eight Classic Films. The Mummy, Dracula, The Wolf Man Frankenstein, The Creature from the Black Lagoon, Bride of Frankenstein, The Invisible Man and Phantom of the Oprera. Our daughters will decide what we watch first...

    What about you guys?

    Hopefully Trick R Treat. I was going to introduce my friend to it a couple weeks ago but we got wrapped up in GTA IV so didn't get around to it. If he's able to come by this weekend, I'll show it to him. Otherwise, I'm waiting till October to do any serious horror movie watching since I like to get as many in as possible during the month.

    Probably ABC's of Death 2. Its on Netflix now. Hopefully it has more actual horror than the first one.

    Netflix drives me crazy. Every time I look at horror films, the descriptions are always "A (family, group of students, troubled teen, or film crew) arrives at a (house, abandoned hospital, forest, or school) and discovers a horrible secret terror." Then the movie rated with two or three stars. Where do they find all this garbage?

    Probably "The Whisperer In Darkness" (black and white yet done relatively recently) just because I loved the voice effects in the trailer. I know they're not effects technically, but whatever, you catch my drift. And I love Lovecraft, as I've said before.

    I have shudder.com instead of Netflix, so I'll probably put on just some random stuff after I take a break from rewatching the Buffy series (my embarrassing secret/guilty pleasure revealed).

    The Twilight Zone movie. My son got a kick out of the old Twilight Zone episode with William Shatner about the gremlin on the wing of the plane, so I thought I'd watch The Twilight Zone movie with him so he can see another version of that. Not really horror, but freaky, I guess.

    To Kyriotes

    Buffy = not embarrassing

    One of the best shows ever made in my opinion. I rewatched the 1st season this weekend.

    It will likely be Orphan, but I'm open to suggestions.
