Anything with Joss Whedon's name on it grabs my attention. I'll see it, probably not in the theater, my movie budget's low and already reserved for The Dark Knight Rises and The Hunger Games.
There's something wrong with me chemically, something wrong with me inherently.

Mmm... wait to see on dvd, less then 5$ for both. Cabin look interesting, but it does put me off "It's all an experiment!" reveal in the trailer.

My wife and I just got back from "Cabin in the Woods" and it is absolutely fantastic. Go see it, support Joss Whedon, enjoy a fantastic horror movie. If a regular horror movie is a cookie, then this is a jar full of cookies. It has absolutely everything x100. Brilliant, funny, exciting, intelligent, scary, inspired, and an absolute joy.
GO NOW, TO THE THEATER AT ONCE!!!

Cabin in the Woods is NOT a remake of anything. It is completely original, it's a fantastic story with a brilliant mix of horror and humor. It starts out as the absolute, classic, stereotypical horror movie with a group of young arch-types going into the woods to spend a weekend at a cousin's cabin. After that, it goes completely off script and is one of the single greatest horror movies I've seen in the last 25 years.
