Hello all..I saw this pic of a zombie from the Walking Dead. I thought it might make a good drawing. I included the model pic for a reference. The pics aren't that good, but they are clear enough to get the idea.

I hate this thread! I keep thinking the producers of the show are having a drawing for Walking Dead stuff!!!

Thanks jdubbya... I think it is more determination and obsession rather than talent.. I spent around 30-35 hours over the course of 2 1/2 weeks on this 9X12 drawing.

lol.. Bruzilla... I thought the exact same thing before I posted it. I tried to come up with another phrasing of the title, but all of it sounded like a drawing/giveaway...I probably could have said... My Walking Dead Image in Pencil..

That is so cool! The one thing I wish I could do is draw.If three people and myself drew a line on a piece of paper,
The first person would say Mine is a baseball bat! And I would say yes I see that clearly.
The second one would say Mine is a magic wand! And I would say yes I see that as well.
The third one would say Mine is a lightning bolt! And I would say of course it is.
Then everyone would look at mine and say... Why did you just draw a crooked line?

Thank you Mourik... You absolutely CAN draw.. While it is true it seems to come easier to some than others.. (I am not one of those people) If you spend enough time and have the dedication you can draw better than you ever imagined. I have been drawing off and on my whole life..but nothing like this.

About 2 months ago I came across some artists on line who were absolutely incredible.. So good in fact, that you could not tell whether it was a drawing or a black and white photograph. Some of these artists had tutorials..I studied their turorials and started to draw in a different way than I ever have before. For me, it does not come easy...Things that would take a seasoned artist a 3-4 hours to do, probably takes me about 8 or more hours.. However, it is the fact that I am willing to spend hours and hours trying to get a part of a face correct, no matter how many times I have to re do it.

Impressive work, I love all the drawings you've posted on the forum. I've also drawn the Night of the Living Dead little girl, but my shading skills leave a lot to be desired. I'm going to keep practicing and, as you have, put in the time that each project deserves.
Keep posting more work.
