Ok I know it's not October yet but I'm too excited to wait!

We had one of these threads last year and I really enjoyed it so I thought I'd start this year's.

This is a challenge to find out who can watch the most horror movies in October. It's best to count as you go or things can get very confusing. So, list what you've watched in numbered format. This way:

    Oct 1st:

    1) Pet Semetary
    2) The Hitcher

    Oct 2nd:

    3) Nightmare on Elm Street

Etc etc. Does that make sense?

Anyone else gearing up for this year's challenge? The only problem I can potentially forsee is that I started my horror movie binge at the end of August so I've already seen quite a lot of horror movies! Ah, I'm sure I'll find some more to watch.

ETA: Here are the rules of last year's challenge, we'll just run with these if no-one has any objections?

The rules are simple and are as follows…

All Horror and Halloween related movies count (Use your own judgment on what Horror is. It can be Horror/comedy, Sci-Fi Horror, Etc.)

Made for T.V. movies count and mini-series count but the whole thing counts as 1

You get 4 Wild Cards that can be used on anything Halloween or Horror related (I.E. It’s The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, Episode Of Dexter, a Tom and Jerry Cartoon short that involves Halloween or Horror)

I've been doing this on my message board at Dark Regions Press for a few years under Halloween Viewing. I'll try and do it here though as well. Watching JEEPERS CREEPERS 2 right now.

Nice one! I was looking forward to this year's challenge. I never come close to winning, but it's fun trying!

If you need some suggestions guys, I've been watching films from this list and I've enjoyed most of them, with the notable exception of The Devil's Chair which I just thought was terrible.

I never come close to winning either. I usually average about 60-70 though, so that's not bad.

If 60-70 doesn't win that I won't have any kind of shot ... but if I can get 31 in I'll be happy.

That's what I aim for too!!
Don't really have time to watch a lot, as I'm not always at home! haha. Though if I get 2 days in a row off, I'll usually aim for a mini movie-marathon on at least one of the days!
As long as I manage 31 I'm very happy!
