    Knock-knock, here comes HELLIONS.

Home alone on Halloween, a 17-year-old girl must survive a night from hell when three malevolent trick-or-treaters come knocking. Described as an eighties-horror throwback with the edgy thematic of JUNO and the intensity of THE STRANGERS, HELLIONS “will boldly push the limits of the genre while blending the pain of adolescent growth and the mayhem of monster-horror."

According to Deadline Hollywood, Gale Anne Hurd, producer of “Aliens,” the first two “Terminator” films, and more recently, AMC TV’s “The Walking Dead,” has announced that she’s purchased the script “Hellfest,” taking place “at a Halloween theme park when one of the costumed characters is actually killing the patrons who think it’s all part of the show."

Scheduled for an October 12, 2012 release, is “Fun Size,” a comedy about a teenage girl who loses her little brother while taking him trick-r-treating, and spends the rest of the night on a wild adventure tracking him down. Paramount Studios is backing the movie. This was filming in Cleveland back in June. They took over a neighborhood to decorate for Halloween. Each decorated house on the street had its own look. A huge spider web with five giant spiders was put on one home, while another had a full graveyard with more than a dozen tombstones. In a different yard, skeletons were playing badminton, lounging in lawn furniture and cooking on a grill.

Good info! Thanks for the heads up. Nice to see Halloween get some recognition in film.

    UPDATES:

Neil Marshall (Doomsday, The Descent) has been chosen as director for Hellfest, which was snatched up by CBS films. Filming is set to begin this summer.

Fun Size official release date is now October 26th for Halloween, opposite the studios other film to release at the same time, Paranormal 4.

Nothing on Hellions which sounded the most interesting.

Those all sound like fun movies.
There's something wrong with me chemically, something wrong with me inherently.
