Can anyone identify a Claymation Halloween special on abc in the early 90s?

All I remember was that it looked to be claymation and it had an assortment of monsters. I am sure its not "Mad Monster Party." I have a strong suspicion that its Claymation Comedy of Horrors, I just have a hard time accepting this is the one because I remember on the commercial it showed a scene with all the monsters I could have sworn I saw a Medusa monster amongst them. I watched Comedy of Horrors and didn't see her so I don't think this is the one.

I never actually got to watch the special, just saw the commercials. I remember I missed it cuz I had to go to church! So it must have aired on a Wednesday or a Sunday if that helps, and I'm pretty sure it was on abc. I was like WAY into monsters so when I saw the commercial I HAD to see it! Also I was reading a YA novelization of Medusa and Perseus, so I thought it was cool that Medusa was in the special in clay form.

If anyone can help identify that would be great. I've googled my heart out but the closest I've come is the Claymation Comedy of Horrors. The year and the style fit. Just the exclusion of Medusa is what throws me off. Perhaps I saw monster in the commercial that resembled Medusa, and just assumed it was her since I was reading the book at the time. idk. but if there is one out there that exists I would be happy

I looked and i thought and I researched and... nothing. The only stop-animation Medusa I know of is in the original Clash of the Titans. (And here I thought you knew everything there is to know about Halloween animation. )

    Could this be it? http://movies.netflix.com/WiMovie/Ma...?trkid=2361637
I know it was actually made in the 60's but it was replayed on TV several years ago.

@GobbyGruesome haha well not EVERYTHING but a lot haha. but yeah it really bugged me that I missed this special cuz I wanted to see it sooo BAD! I felt like Bart missing the Itchy and Scratchy movie! haha

@Madame Leota I knew people would think of Mad Monster Party first, which is y I stated in my original post, that I'm sure that its not the one. I thought it was at first too but its not.

I actually skimmed through Comedy or Horrors again and I'm starting to think that may have been it. I have to actually sit down and watch it through some day to get a better idea. But I SWORE there was a Medusa or a Medusa like creature! Thats what made me want to see it so bad!
