Hey Friends,

Thought you might enjoy my Brother's short film "Monster in My Swimming Pool," that despite the fact that he filmed and edited it in one weekend without any budget, was selected as one of the top 10 finals to be voted upon for Universal's Halloween Horror Nights. Sadly, it couldn't be any longer than three minutes, and in my humble opinion this shortened version doesn't do the little project justice.

He was going for a dreamy Creepshow type feel. Hopefully this gets you in the mood for the holiday.

Try this again since my comment didnt post. I love your brothers film! The little girls roll was so awesome! I also enjoyed the other films especially Follow The Sun that was like an acid trip HAHAHA

The editing and screen shots were very good but I had no idea what was going on. And that's only because I'm at work and had to be sneaky about watching it

There are some great little films. You ought to check out the ones from last year as well.

It can be tough to follow. He's really trying to tell three different stories in three minutes. The five minute version is much better, with a couple of creepy scenes that I think tie it together.

Awesome. Thanks so much. I'm really proud of him for pulling this off over a weekend without any budget. Gets me excited for Halloween.

You know, I'm not sure. I'll ask him. The two girls are sisters that responded to an add he put up online. They both did a great job in my opinion and get a chance to shine a bit more in the longer version.
