Another testament to the overall lack of creativity/new ideas in movies and television. I would predict Bewitched will be pulled after one season, if not before, and Frankenstine; why bother. It will never be as good as the original. (sigh)
Americans sleep peacefully in their beds at night because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.

I can see both sides to the story. On one hand, they're revamping movies and shows for a new generation, especially with the advancement in technology. On the other hand, they aughtta let the originals be just that.

The only 1960s show that I can see being a successful revival for today's audience is the "Addams Family" due to the timeless characters
and social awkwardness, that would provide a perfect satirical "jab" to today's world of twitter/facebook/texting.
Bewitched on the other hand, offers little in terms of new directions, character development or stories. They tried to bring in a modern spin with that 2005 movie;
It FAILED miserably! Something tells me that "Bewitched" will struggle to find a balance between the show's original formula, and the 2013 setting. I doubt they can pull it off!
Prediction: Won't get a full season run, at most maybe 10 episodes. It worked in 1965 because it was unique!
NBC's "Frankenstein" will be a gamble for sure, but the source material, and the many movies it spawned, should provide a flexible ground to work with. I can see this show being fairly successful if it is handled carefully as long as it doesn't attempt to satisfy everyone and every genre. I can also see it bombing miserably. LOL.
Prediction: Might make it to a season 2, if it stays true to original material and setting. It can work if it doesn't try too hard to please every genre!
Anyones guess at this point!
