Hey everyone, I have a plan, and if had to go anywhere for help and support, it would be the almighty Halloween Forum. So, I want to write a small script for a, say, 30 min. movie, and will eventually turn into a film. But, I have no clue what it'll be about, so I'm asking: what are some good ideas for a horror movie?
P.S. I really like ideas from the big, classic films, too.

I wrote a short story back in 2004 or so about a fantasy view of Mother Goose tales where Little Red Riding Hood had grown up and was always complaining about being eternally viewed as a child. She's also always harping about how old and mundane her story has become and how Mother Goose should make her story more modern. Mother Goose gets tired of the whining and decides she would be better off without Red's constant nagging.
In Mother Goose's land, Red is eternally going to grandma's house, and having her run in with a now worn and tired wolf, so Goose replaces the old wolf with a more modern werewolf, who doesn't spend much time talking but immediately attacks Red. Red gets away and flees to a nearby city where she's pursued by the werewolf and encounters more modern monsters and killers like Freddy Krueger and Pumpkinhead.
In the end, the werewolf catches up to her and eats her while Mother Goose looks on saying be careful what you ask for Red."Spit's all that's holding me together right now too!" James Whitmore, Them!

If you want to be scary, I think the more realistic the story; the scarier. Slasher films are good for jumps and giggles, but films like "Silence of the Lambs" where your drenched in realism stay with you longer and are more frightful. But horror films can be a lot funner too.
Ideas:
Being lost somewhere
black magic
avon lady gone crazy!!"When there's no more room in Hell, the dead will walk the earth!"
