I have a Halloween party for my daughter and her friends (about 75 of them). We show scary movies and have a garage haunt. I have used The Grudge 1 and 2 already, and they are excellent for my party. I like to use movies with lots of gotchas, less blood, NO sexual situations (hormones in 14-year-olds are bad enough!), and no devils or religious themes (I'm in Alabama). I'd love to find a TV edit version of the Blair Witch project but can't seem to find edited versions for sale. I have Ju-On, which I could use, but it is the same as the Grudge series (though better, I think). Movies like The Ring require too much undivided attention. I'm looking for a steady stream of screams! I'd love some suggestions for this year. Older movies are fine if they aren't cheesy. Teens are pretty sophisticated and spoiled when it comes to special effects.

Nice list, FG. I'm familiar with about half of them, and the other half I should be able to get from my library. My daughter and I watch lots of old movies in the summer, so these will be great to check out. Thanks!
