    I've been REALLY against this remake. Cause I LOVE the original. I grew up on it and I think its a great Vampire/Comedy movie. . .

    But, I saw this trailer today, and I didn't think it looked all that bad. Colin looks HOT as a vampire too...

    Just wish they hadn't given it the Fright Night name.

    When I first heard about this remake, I was super-enthusiastic - Colin Farrell versus Jailbait!Chekov with Red Mist and the 10th Doctor providing supporting roles? How could that not rule?

    Then I watched the trailer. Oh dear. Overly earnest vampface!Colin, enough car crashes and explosions that I feel like I'm watching a Die Hard movie, and a general lack of the campy horror vibe that made the first one a classic.

    I kind of feel like Colin Farrell just cheated on me with the entire Twilight fandom.

    I was flipping through the channels yesterday evening and I came acroos the orignial Fright Night on Encore. I couldn't believe I missed this movie even though I was only four when it came. My parents were horror movie addicts and they even missed this one. I've been excited about the remake coming out. I'm just glad I got to watch the original first.

    Yeah it's a great movie, I was looking on imdb the other day I never knew that Stephen Geoffreys who played Evil Ed ended up starring in a string of gay porn movies. He's back in horror now and in some movie called Bite Marks, I saw the trailer can't say I was impressed though.

    Ooh just found another trailer with David as Peter Vincent in it. I can't wait to see it but for me the original will always be the best.
