I loved the first movie and use it as a guide for my Halloween decorating. If there is a second film, I an only hope it is as well crafted and designed as the first one.

In my opinion, Trick r Treat is one of the most original Halloween movies ever made. From the beautiful visuals, perfectly captured Halloween essence, great production quality and very creative anthology story line, this was truly a Halloween classic. The studio clearly miscalculated the potential success of this film and did not give it a theatrical release. I have heard of a sequel with the same director creating a new series of events and new actors yet keeping our friend Sam in the picture. In addition, I also heard that the director was focused on filming in other areas of the country and keeping up with the visuals and true Halloween feel. With an anthology, the possibilities are endless.

I really hope that a new Trick r Treat hits theaters with the same Halloween essence as the first one.

I believe it was at last years ComiCon that Michael Dougherty said that there is plans for a second Trivk r Treat. With this new news, Im really hoping we see it. And a theatrical release too!

I hope so as well.. There are a few movies out there that absolutely capture the essence of Halloween.. The original Halloween 1 and 2 and Trick or Treat...
