Hi spooks! Wanted to take a minute to share my new Myers score.. Of all of the masks that I've ever owned, this is by far the nicest. The Kirk mask was produced by a renowned sculptor in Greece, Nikolas (Nikolas Art Gallery), and the Myers conversion was performed by a very good friend of mine from Canada, Michael Gazzola, who goes by "AllHallowsGhost" on the forums. The detail on this mask is unlike anything I've ever seen, and I've owned probably 12 or 13 of Mike's Myers conversions. He must have been very inspired when he did this mask because it is simply better than any other mask he's ever done. Nikolas provided the hair. It looks and feels like it came straight from 1975, in fact, I'm convinced it is the same stuff used on the Hero mask from the first two Halloween films! The style factor is unreal. If it isn't the same stuff, it is the closest to it that I have ever seen. So, with that said, I present to you my grail mask - The Nikolas Art Gallery/AllHallowsGhost 75K
Scary detail - A yellowish grime on the ears giving the appearance of being handled by dirty hands on the set of the film, bloody needle hole from the couch scene, remnants of the sideburns that were torn off for the original mask conversion, flesh tones showing through as a result of the cheap, white spray paint rubbing off, filthy weathering from the mask being mistreated throughout filming.. It is all there!
Some B&W action..
Uncanny likeness to the real deal >>>

Yup..dead on to Hallloween 2.. The closest version I have ever seen or probably ever will be. I have not contacted NAG yet. I probably will soon. I would like to go with a mask from part 1.. Part 1 and part 2 have the best masks of the series.. Part 6, The Curse of Michael Myers's was not too bad. It was almost like a cross between leatherface (round, with a double kind of chin) and Myers...

You're not going to wrong with a mask from Nikolas, especially a 75K. Keep in mind that the mask from Halloween (1978) is the same mask from Halloween 2 (1981). Those are not two different masks.. That is a cool VHS. I wouldn't mind scoring an original Halloween VHS. Always wanted one, but never really took the time to hunt one down.

110%

After shooting was complete for John Carpenter's Halloween, the "Hero" mask was taken home by Debra Hill and was stored in a box under her bed for three years until being hauled back out for Halloween 2 in 1981. Notice how snug the mask is on Warlock's face. Not sure how it is being displayed in the other photo, but Castle's face distorted the mask in a completely different fashion. It is all in how the mask looked when worn. That mask was balloon thin and could take on many different forms, thus creating the illusion of being a different mask at times.

AHHH... I see...

Wow.. After all these years, I learned something new about a Halloween film. I thought I knew everything there was to know about the whole series.....
This is becoming a great thread...
Since this is a Halloween site.. It would be very fitting to have a thread exclusivley about the Halloween movies...just my opinion...
