Most of the movies that pop into my mind first have already been named. I love the oldies, the cheesy B-movies and even the slasher flicks like Hostel. I saw The Crazies, but the story line was just too familiar for me. Reminded me too much of another movie I watched. I'm going to have to search my library and get back with this thread!

The 1922 movie (Yes, it's silent)
    HAXAN!
A college art professor handed me a copy of this years ago. You will see things and scenes in this movie that you have never seen before.
"Make-Up", in 1922 they just hired a ragged old-hag-looking woman to play the Witch.!!
    How about that?
This movie begins with a lavish art illustration of the history of Wicthcraft, which goes on and on.
    Quite educational.
Some of the scenes will not be forgotten.

The Exorcist is like the Stairway to Heaven of horror, it is by far the best , so we can just put it in it's own category. Other than that, eesh, this will be bugging me all day, I'd have to say "The Thing" 1982 scared the crap out of me, "Salem's lot", and "Hellraiser" were great too.

I agree. Like I said earlier, I think The Exorcist is the best and the scariest.
