    Hello everyone!
I have been researching online for some time now trying to figure out the name of this 80's film I saw a very long time ago...

The plot of the story begins where a bunch of young ladies and gentlemen take a trip on a bus up to the mountains/forest(I know very typical!) but they end up crashing or breaking down(not sure) only to find a creepy slasher type killer watching them.

The killer sets up traps with a swinging wood log with blades inbedded and tethered branches with spike knives attached. Slowly the camp tourist or staff not sure get taken out one by one(of course) until the sole survivor finds a way out..

I don't recall much other than the info I've supplied but I remember that it was a real creepy and suspenseful movie indeed! I would love to see it again if anyone can help me with a name/title. Thanks for any help in advance!

That's pretty vague. You have any idea on when it was made? 70s? 80s? Did you see it on TV or big screen? Any details what so ever as far as names of actors, characters, bad guy?

I'll throw out "Don't Go Into The Woods."

Very vague. Need more information. That sounds like a lot of slasher films.

Ok I revised the original post to add a little more detail to the best of my knowledge. I was alot younger and only saw this movie one time. It was a a pretty cool slasher flick though! I loved these old movies as my mom and I would go see them at the box office regularly back in my childhood days. I wish I had more info to share but this about all I have..

I have ordered the DVD rental from netflix for: "Don't go in the woods Alone!"

Thanks for all the replies and help! Can't wait to find out what the title is!
