Back in my old neighborhood we used to have friendly neighborhood competitions on Halloween. It really seemed to get people involved with decorating and the like (even if they weren't directly involved in competing), since there was a small parade of people marching around looking at all the great decorations. I live in the Baker District now and it seems like Halloween is kind of lifeless around here (I've only been here for one Halloween). How 'bout a competition or a block party, or both to bring some haunting fun into the neighborhood?

Sounds like a fun idea. I'm little west of you, right over in Lakewood. Not really your neighborhood. I am the only on in my neighborhood who does any real set up for Halloween. I'd be very interested in seeing if you can get anything going with this.

I'd be interested too - I live in Erie. Just north of the metro area
