The HFW 8 Haunt is looking for actors who can play 1 of 3 roles. I don't want to give away two much of the haunt but here's some information:

The theme is Broomhilda’s Doll Emporium Role 1: Broomhilda - an eccentric Doll maker who is a bit loopy. She reminds us of a deranged “Edna Mode” from The Incredibles. She walks the halls, and talks to the patrons in line. BroomHilda is a doll maker, famous for her larger than life doll making skills... She makes dolls for the masses and private art collectors. The dolls made for private collectors are so life-like that her technique has been kept a secret all these years...... But she is getting older and needs to pass on down the tricks of the trade to a new apprentice The old woman is also out in front eyeing up the crowd. This role is going to be really fun. She has no personal space issues and can use her tape measure to size people up, examine their eye color, skin complexion, and whatnot. The person playing BroomHilda is going to need to be a talker and good on improv.

Role 2: Window Doll - The window from will have a box in it so we can have dolls in the window as well as a life sized doll who sits in there and moves from time to time.

Role 3: A "real-life" ventriloquist dummy. This role will feature a prepared script that enhances the haunt. However, the actor can divert from the script when they feel the need to be unique. Basically, comedic insults. Ultimately the dummy will tell them to go into the back room.

The only requirement is that you must attend HFW.

NOTE: Last year we had over 650 patrons attend the haunt, so if you're looking for exposure this is a good opportunity.
