When do you start making arragement for the main convetions you want to attend? (Transworld, Midwestern, Hauntcon)

Since you have the flight, hotel and tickets plus classes to sign up for, how do you plan it all out, or do you?

I want to go next yeat to at least one of them but I am trying to figure out when i should start making arrangments.

I'm hoping Hauntcon will be super close to me this year, that one is the easiest one to go to since it moves around every year.

I see that hauntcon will be in PA 2011. So my only hope is to go to Transworld but I know it can be super tricky if you don't own a haunt.

For the people who want to go but don't have a haunt do you see if you can get tickets in then book your way there or the opposite?

I heard someone say just registar for some classes there and it will get you a ticket in, is that true?
