This year's display was the most ambitious yet. With the help of friends, we built a gigantic steampunk inspired drilling machine for a display I called "Journey from the Center of the Earth." Here's a quick pic from this morning to show what it looks like:
It's the biggest prop I've built to date. The drillbit (which is motorized and turns) is 11 1/2 feet long all by itself. From the tip of the drillbit to the base of the cylinder is about 25 feet. Inside were my talking animatronic skeleton and raven.
There will be more photos and video coming on my website SoCalHalloween.com during the next few weeks, so stay tuned.

I've been to your website on a yearly basis. It's amazing seeing what you come up with every year to top the last one! Amazing haunt once again!
"Look Honey, they have... uhm... 'Dead People' in the backyard!"
"Your body's dying. Pay no attention, it happens to all of us!"
