I'll start by saying every one of my spirit props performed perfectly all night and I have ten of them! There's a lot of talk about how these props suck, but all mine did great. Even my foggers kicked butt! Not one hitch.

Lesson learned though- power adapters are a must. Batteries ran low in some props. Not doing THAT again.

How did you all do with your creations and/or commercial props?

EVERYTHING was AWESOME! MANY upon MANY compliments! Lot of pictures, scared kids, ran out of candy! I did buy power adapters for ALL of my Props and it was well worth it, and I highly recommend it, I bought them directly from Tekky Toys. I also read thread after thread about how crappy the props are this year, well they all were awesome, even Demonica she was the hit of my graveyard! I hope that Tekky Toys make more like this one! Overall a GREAT night!

My electric chair prop...the drill that runs the prop burned out. Actually, it seized up!! I could smell it when it happened. I was a little trigger happy with it...everyone was just loving it and I let her run for periods of time that...well, it wasn't a good idea. Oh well, it's my own fault. And of course this happened around 7:30. Prime time. So that really sucked. But everything else was fine. Besides the wind and the cold. Man was it cold and windy!!

There were a few minor repairs on some of our older props, but other than that, everything worked great!

We added a ground fogger on our lawn area and it worked pretty well. I will need to add a fog chiller to it for next year....
Thank ye matey, from the bottom of me scurvy heart......"One Eye'd" Mick

The ships' doctor warned me that I've been partaking in too much wine, women and song and told me that I should cut back a bit.........I am really going to miss the singing.....

I am doing just that for sure. I have to check my props because there are specific ones. But it's about a hundred dollar investment that I think is well worth it. The props really should included these adapters though. But batteries no more, for me.

Here's a quick vid of my hovering ghosts kicking butt in my graveyard. I had them on plastic storage bins to give them height. Thank GOD the wind calmed down enough to have them out this year. Of all my props, the HG can tolerate wind the least, no surprise.

I have some kicking legs, half way through. I only had one leg kicking.

The Grave head Popper worked awesome all night.

My Hangman lost the ability to run the legs once, and arms once, but I was able to get it going back quickly. Basically I need to fix the way I did the linkage to the motor ..... good night overall. Look forward to more builds next year.

You know, that purely innocent pic of you fixing that prop STILL has an evil look to it! Man, that's gotta hurt!

Everything worked great tonight. The only incident, if you can call it that, is that one of the supports on my walls came loose, but nothing came of it. Helps to be prepared and have multiple supports.
