    This is our first year with a light show. In fact, we just finished setting it up today

    Therefore we don't know the ettiquete surrounding its use.

    How long do you keep your light show on each night before Halloween and on Halloween itself?

    From dusk till 10 or midnight. I have a timer that fires when it gets dark. Tonight I ran it till midnight.

    I run it for 3 hours every night, from about 7 to 10, the week leading up to Halloween. On Halloween night, it's on 6pm until 10.

    I let mine run 6:30 to 10 last night. Tonight I'll probably only let it run until 8 or 8:30, whenever "traffic" slows down as I don't want to be out tearing down at midnight tonight.

    I have my display set up for most of October. I incorporate a mixture of flood lights, Tiki torches, fog machines and music/sound effects.

    On the weekdays, I run only my flood lights lights from around 6:30pm to 10:00pm. On the weekends, I crank up the whole shooting match from 6:30pm to 11:00pm....!

    The ships' doctor warned me that I've been partaking in too much wine, women and song and told me that I should cut back a bit.........I am really going to miss the singing.....
