My first pneumatic prop will not work.

Im trying to hook up to my air cylinders:
    * health/hertz motion security light (SL-05408-GR-B) Home Dept
    * RJ Genie 3/4 sprinkler Valve (54000) Ace Hardware

Motion lite = Black and white wire
    Valve = 2 black wires
Plug / cord = neutral and hot wire

    1) sensor white to cord neutral
    sensor hot to cord hot

    2) valve wire to neutral cord
other wire to sensor black (also tried this to sensor red)

    3) valve in from compressor
    valve out to prop cylinders

and nothing ...Prop works fine just hooking up compressor to it
sensor and light works fine by them self
but when hooked up to gather nothing

running out of time PLEASE HELP

    UH OH....
Is that valve intended for an underground sprinkler system?
If it is the voltage is probably supposed to be 24 VAC and not 120VAC...
    It's probably smoked....

You need to add a step down transformer in between the sensor and the valve.

You need a 24 volt transformer for that valve. You should be able to get a transformer and new valve at Ace where you bought the first valve.

You could also get a 110 volt solenoid valve that's made for that application..........Monster Guts has them.
