    how old is the fogger?

    sounds like its clogged.

if its not clogged it could be the pump but then again it could also be the heater.

all three problems can cause the results your experiancing.

i'd try cleaning the nozzle first (i use clr, but i've heard others are using viniger and water)

even if you don't get it completely clean, you should notice an improvement.

if not, then its time to crack into it, or return it to the store/buy a new.

Sounds like the fogger is stuck in pre-heat mode. First, unplug your machine. Maybe you can open it up and test the thermal sensor with a multimeter to see if it is shorted out.

If the thermal sensor is continuous, the fog machine thinks that it needs to heat up the element. If it is discontinuous, the fog machine control board sees that the element is heated sufficiently, and the "ready" light should come on on your remote. I replaced the thermal sensor on one of my machines a year back and it works great to this day.

The foggers is a couple of years old. I have no mechanical background so you are talking over my head. The remote does light up when ready......? I will try cleaning it with vinegar I was thinking about doing that anyways. But don't you love how it waits to just before halloween to die! I'm tapped out from spending $ on props

Just disregard my earlier instructions as they won't fix your issue. If the light comes on on the remote, it is likely the nozzle or the pump or hose.

You might check the hose that goes from the reservoir into the pump. those can sometimes kink. Also, at the end of the hose that goes in the reservoir, there is sometimes a screen filter that can clog up with rust/debris. Make sure that is clean.

does the fogger sound like its running correctly? i mean can ya hear it trying to push out the fog?

very carefully take a pin/needle and see if you can feel a bunch of crusties in your nozzle. (MAKE SURE ITS UNPLUGGED BEFORE YOU DO ANY WORK ON YOUR FOGGER )

I sounds ok and it will put out a little bit of fog. But not nearly what it should. It is heating like normal too.
