I bought this in early september. Really really cool however tonight even though it started out as stellar I went out later and discovered it would not turn on.

    At all.

I was using an adapter to power it the last 3 days (yes it was the right voltage). Tried it with batteries only, still no go.

Spirit is kind enough to overright a replacement but I've been instructed to discard the one I have.

Not one to waste I'd like to try and fix this one. Can't find a fuse to replace but if anyone has experience with this type of prop or has any ideas before I just open her up, I'm all ears

    The prop:

A couple of things I would look at are is it motion sensor activated? Is there a loose wire at the main power switch, If it is motion activated I would make sure there wasn't anything blocking the sensor. It really sounds like the main power isn't coming on, maybe the switch is bad /loose wire. Do you have a multi-meter that you can check this with? 1 other thing is the adapter putting out the needed voltage and current .I know you said it wouldn't work on the adapter or batteries but it would be worth it to check both .

Definitely check your adapter, if it's unregulated and the load doesn't match the mA it's rated for, the voltage can be much higher than listed.
