Here is a quick lil vid from a haunt I just did Fri 22nd for an elementary school. Was done at end of it, lites off version was to dark to see on camera, so this is lites on quickie walk-thru (vid battery was super low ). The vid of the face I used when you 1st walked in to "warn you" was great & done by http://www.becksyndicate.com/Halloween/, like to add that he is great at getting back to you with download link & help, very nice to deal with ! Had some kids that didn't want to go thru just from that, funny-had a few adults that didn't either - LoL. I had a smoke machine blowing fog in front of screen sheet so the face blended in better to fog effect, but machine died half way thru, but still effect came out great. I had 2 speakers,1 below screen aimed at you & one to the right side of hall you entered to view it with the volume & bass up a bit. The vid you don't hear the effect, but when the last "get out" roars, it "hits" ya !! LoL Everyone loved it overall, even though there were a few extra effects i didn't have time to install,6 hrs to stage before curtain time, but ya know how that goes ! NEVER enough time LoL..... & the beast-creature thing costume at the beginning is ME having fun LoL ( Scared 2 adults that ran thru the rest away from me LMAO )

When you look in the mirror at midnight,....what looks back at you.........

Thank you, ya the kids went crazy over my props,as the school had done it in the past & non of them were into Halloween or had anything other than cheesy dollar store stuff...... half the parents that did it usually never even heard of Spirit stores or went to a local Haunted house to see how things are done, LoL They just threw stuff on the floor & called it a haunt. One of my customers friends has a kid there & asked him if he knew someone that could do it,........he did- ME

Had fun but only 3 people i knew to help me out of 8 showed up,...... so a lot didn't get done the way I would have liked to, but it turned out great anyhow ! The kids & parents were really happy to have a real Haunt at they're school & I had fun doing it for them.

Love the face in the intro that warns them to get out! I've been wanting to do something with a mist projection screen — something like this would work great and allow the guests to walk through it:

As someone who has worked on activities for the community (Kiwanis), I understand the lame results you can get from people who "sign up" to help. We had better results when we actually scheduled people for shifts, and then called in advance to confirm that they were going to be there as promised.
