A few carves I've done over the last few years (including one I did for my mom this year) actually got published in Rolling Stone Magazine Online amongst 32 others!! Just dont even ask me why they put a Justin Bieber one first....LOL

Look for numbers 20, 25 and 27!! I'm pretty surprised and stoked!!

I use a dremel and various bits.

Time?? The Slash one maybe 3-4 hours. AC/DC was around 7-8 hours. Elvis was for my mom....and I wanted it to be PERFECT. Time? 12-14 hours total.

sure, for all the past ones from 2006 to 2009, look here (I made a video so it would be easier than linking each photo over and over to people who asked to see them):

If I can get a second one showing this years carves done before Halloween I will post a link to them then. I like to hold them back though till its actually Halloween each year. More fun for me to do it that way.

    Lemme know what you think!!

Thanks very much guys. I put alot of time into them, but I really think its worth it. When I switched over to the foam ones in 2008, it really made a difference. It allowed a much more intricate carve as well as the ability of it to last forever. Real pumpkins are cool, but the foam ones look just like real and they dont rot. Two definate big advantages well worth it after all the time carving.
