Thread: Outdoor CFL spotlight holders?

Does anyone know where to get or tutorial for a CFL spotlight holder? I need to protect it just in case it rains.

The ones that stake into the ground at walmart etc. have no enclosure.

Yeah, I bought one of the stake ones and think they're assuming you're going to be using a cone shaped floodlight bulb in it which would seal against the plastic and keep away the moisture. Since I'm only going to put it out when it's nice out (hope it doesn't rain on Halloween) I'm not worried but I don't know what I would do if I wanted to make it semi-permanent. They do have CFL floodlights in a cone enclosure to use in these kinds of holders, I wonder if you could buy one and break the bulb out of it and put in the one you want to use.

Yeah, but I already have the blacklights and I have not seen cone enclosed CFL's that you can buy locally.
