My first post here, bear with me. I have 3 Chauvet mini strobes that I would like to link for synchronized operation. Out of the box, they are basically plug and play with no built in linking capability. The expensive "DJ" lights can be linked with 1/4" mono plug connecting cables. Is there a wiring modification I can make to the mini strobes to allow them to be hooked up to a multi strobe controller? (I have a Chauvet CH-751 strobe controller).
I have the parts to add 1/4" jacks to make the mod, just not sure of the wiring.
    Thanks!!

I don't have one of these at present but basically the adjustments on the back of your strobe are a simple 555 timer circuit, or an RC circuit, that is triggering your flash circuit. The strobe controller you are talking about is likely an external version of the normal internal circuit in the strobe.

So your basic idea is to find out where the triggering happens and to remove the input from the strobe's normal circuit and have that input come from your timer control.

I have done some searching around for strobe light circuits out there and there is more than one way to do this. So basically it really depends on how they made the circuit as to weather or not you can actually do this. Is there any way you can post pictures of the circuit board? It might help identify the circuit they are using.

It might be as simple as adding two wires or it might be way more complicated.
