I am running into a mental block, I have my Toe Pincher all ready to go, but I have a mental block when it comes to mounting the Wiper motor (purchased from monster guts) to the wooden coffin. I am using it to open the coffin slightly to make it look like a skeleton is trying to escape.
There isnt any bracket to screw into the wooden coffin, and I've thought about making a small shelf, but I dont believe that the motor will be secure enough to open the lid.
    All suggestions welcomed.
    Thanks in advance!
    Tom

Take the motor to the hardware store and ask the guy in the bolt section if they have a "U" bolt that will fit over the motor housing. Make sure to get on thats long enough to go through the coffin board.

use metal strapping tape you can purchase for 4 or 5 dollars a roll. You can find it in most hardware stores, or home depot or lowes. It has pre drilled holes every inch. Its great for props !

Here is a picture of a motor strapped down with the metal strapping tape smokey0007 suggested.

After strapping your motor to the coffin I would brace it by putting a piece of 2x4 on each side of the motor and over the strapping. This will help keep the motor from twisting and also make sure the screws you put in the strapping doesn't work loose.

Something like this but mount the wood flat over the strapping and by putting the wood brace on both sides of the motor it gives you a place to use the mounting bracket on the motor
