I figured I would post pics of my yard so far. One of my many challenges is night photography. I suck at it. Normally that would not be an issue; however, since my yard looks the coolest at night with the lights and the smoke, it does tend to cause me issues with sharing what my yard looks like. So with that said I apologize for the crappy pictures









I haven't really used the fog machines yet because we've been having some wind issues. But you get the idea of the yard. I hope everyone's set up is coming together....

Good work UnkleSatan! That first night shot is great - very eerie atmosphere you created.

For night pictures -get a camera stand or something very solid that you can set the camera on and it won't rock when you hit the button. And figure out how to adjust your shutter spead settings (I assume this is a digital camera). Then take pictures at various times around sunset to dark at various shutter speeds perhaps up to and including several seconds.

Once you see how that works, you'll know what time of day and what shutter speed makes your pictures come out the best!
