OK,
I spent about an hour plus, made a nice corner web, then did the big spider and a few victims, only to find out that the webbing I used won't flouresce when hit with blacklight...
anyone know any tips on how to get it to glow?
I can;t use real spray paint, but I could spray other stuff.
I really don't want to re-do it.

Try flourescent hair spray. Several on the forum have used it to make things glow. If you can take the web down temporarily you could soak it in tide or rit whitener. That will make it pop pretty good. Years ago I used some flourescent spray paint that was clear in normal light and glowed green in UV light. I stretched the web out about 3/4 of the way, sprayed it then stretched it the rest of the way, it was a great effect. But, the hair spray works good as well. Keith

I never tried it, but I wonder if you could put a Tide solution in a spray bottle. That way you could hit it in place, preserving the work you did to hang it. Small spray bottles are around $1.50 at Target. You could spray one corner of it, let it dry, test how it works.

Thanks for the tide idea... I will try that.
I did find some other shorter webbing that does flouresce and kinda wove it into the other stuff. it's looking ok now, but I will probably try some Tide too.

As suggested, grab a spray bottle and mix Rit fabric Whitener with hot water and drench the Web. Blow dry it for a light fluffy look.

I bought a UV LED flashlight solely so I could check things in the stores before I buy. (I hate the green webs)
Target has two types of spider webs, and only one of them glows.
"Ghostly Fang" webs for $2 will glow in UV.
"Vast Venom" webs for $3 will not.
Walgreens' and walmart's webs also do not fluoresce.
I've never tried the detergents. Off to the pantry!
