I have been trying to figure out how to bypass the sound activation sensors that come on store bought halloween props. If I connect the wires (typically white) from the sound sensor together it still does run conitinuosly. Does anyone know how to bypass the sensor?

What are you going to use to activate the prop? Either add a second switch or a pressure pad or whatever is going to activate the prop and wire it in place of the old sensor.

What do you want to use to trigger them? If the two white wires come off the sensor and if you put them together the prop runs continually, you could put your normal open trigger across those two wires and the prop will turn on when the normal open contacts are closed. Maybe I am not completely understanding the issue......It has already been a long day, but I would be happy to assist you. Keith

So I take it touching the two white wires together does not cause the prop to run?

I don't suppose there's a solid-state transistor anywhere near the sensor? If there is gently twist it until all three pins are touching.

There is a circuit board that the two white wires are attached to.

Can you post a picture of the PC board front and back?
