Anyone else try this? It's been brewing in my head for awhile now and finally went to Home Depot earlier this evening to get the supplies!! Had it up in less than 15 minutes, including drilling small holes every foot or so!
You can see the pvc pipe in this shot running up the right side column....I'll be adding some more elbows to get it close to the down spot and blend it in better....I also need a bigger fitting for the fog machine to insert into...
I'm hoping to lay some green lights in the gutter as well......maybe some ice as well......will post follow up when I do!!
Also for those curious; 1"pvc, 3-10ft pieces, 3-90 degree elbows, 2-45 degree elbows and 3-1" connectors=$27 bucks
Well what do you know....the video of my experiment finished uploading just in time~

That looks really great. You may want to put up a big "FOG MACHINE TESTING IN PROGRESS" sign or your neighbors might be calling the fire department!

Not bad.
It really isn't a bad idea to call up your local fire station and let them know you'll be using fog machines on Halloween, especially if you have high output foggers. The first time I ran my foggers, it fogged up the whole street and the fire department came even after I gave them warning.

Cool idea to pipe the fog to the gutters!
Not really sure it's a great idea to tell the fire department not to come because you're running a fog machine. What happens when the fog machine malfunctions, catches your house on fire, and they don't come because you called and told them not to?I wish everyone was as kind as creepycathy!

I think it's an interesting idea, but I have found that just unleashing fog from the ground usually results in it winding up there anyway, without all the bother!

My thought is sending thru the smaller pipe keeps it denser?!?
Here are some night shots~

One thing I did do after taking these shots was twist the pipe so that the fog comes out and hits the gutter first...that way you get it disperses instead of coming straight out in streams as it looks in alot of these shots!
