Fabric stores like JoAnn Fabrics always has tuns of discount cloth for pennys to a dollar a yard

Dollar stores and such sell a lot of the "creepy cloth" for a dollar a pack or so

Call around town, local co-ops and any other companies that throw out scrap cloth or burlap bags and such

Also, always check Goodwill and Salvation Army stores for fabric, old sheets, etc.

Not sure exactly what you need, but you can also take a look in home depot and lowes. There's a lot of different colors and textured weed barrier cloths. Burlap is a nice loose weave and they carry it in that section too. It's not what I would call super cheap, but you get a decent size roll of the stuff and I don't know where I'd be without burlap and black weed barrier cloth. Coupled with tons 'o creepy cloth, all that goes a long way for set decoration.

I went to Fabricland for cheesecloth and what's known around here as stitch witchery for my cocoon victim.

.99 Only stores have $1 creepy cloth. Home Depot has rolls of loosely weaved burlap for $10. If you have the extra coin, try your local landscape supply. A place by me sells rolls of tightly weaved burlap, 40" by 114 yards for $100.

    Edit - Home Depot now has 5yd packs for $1.98 - doesn't glow under U/V but that's next's year's concern.

HomeDepot's the best I found for small quantities. $3.59 for 5yd packs.

JoAnn Fabrics has a sale for $2.65 but for only 3yds and most stores I checked sold out. Lowes was $1.99 for 2yd packs.

BigLots had 3 colors of creep cloth for $3.60 per 4yd pack.

You can get large sheets of mosquito netting from many surplus stores. It's usually pretty inexpensive.
