This summer I was reading about PVC fog grids so i decided to make one of my own. I used 2" and 1" pvc. I have four or five holes drilled in each 1" diameter pipe.

Nice Job! I would consider painting your pipes black.

good idea.
Are you going to chill it.
I read on another thread about putting frozen water bottles in the pipe.

I had a PVC fog grid last year. Mine had 6 or 7 outlets in various places in the cemetery and in front of my shack. I covered my pipes with leaves and had plastic bags covering the outlets as a way of eliminating back-draft.

In this pic you can see one of the outlets in the PVC coming out of the leaves. There was one more outlet to the right and 5 or 6 in the graveyard.

I dont know if I will even use it this year because I am camping on fall break. The good thing is the campground I am going to be staying in is going to have a decorating contest.
This means that i will be taking as many halloween decorations that I can. I just dont know if it will fit in the van.

Do you find that the small holes compress the fog and keep it low (like it was chilled)? I read that somewhere, wasn't sure if it really works or not.

Great idea but not very hidden.

I have now resolved the 'visible' issue.

I paint all PVC flat black. no need to hide it then after dark it becomes invisible.
Can of flat black is 97 cents at lowes & wallyworld.
