Good day to everyone reading this! I have a fitco 1000 watt fog machine that works awesome but I am having a pesky problem with the screen at the end of the fluid intake line that connects to the fluid tank, it keeps rusting. Its rusting fast too, just between uses and there are rust stains in my fluid tank. every year when i get the machine out for Halloween its so rusted that I have to blow it out because its completely blocked. Is it safe to remove this or is it replaceable? It seems like the screen helps manage fluid flow too so I'm afraid to yank it.
Thanks for any help!

i'm guessing that this is the little screen in a plastic or rubber adapter in the reservoir that is attached to the intake hose? If it is, i would suggest going to your hardware store and either buying a plumbing fitting that has a stainless steel screen and remove that and use it in your fogger. If that is too small, buy some stainless steel screen (bug screen) and cut out the right shape and size and pop it in to the assembly......you should be good to go! Also, plumbing suppliers (even Home Depot) may have an already assembled part that is similar that you could probably, easily adapt to fit your assembly. Pressure washers have a similar assembly in their soap intake hoses.....i know mine does.
