I know I'm running out of time but I want to add one more prop to my Ghost Town in an area that is very void of anything. I'm looking for some creative ideas from the group on what to put there that will make a big impact with very little financial need.
The spot I want filled is between two of my boardwalk awnings and I really have no idea what to put there. However my imagination keeps going in the direction of a large ghost or skeleton, covered in a degraded black/cheese-cloth robe. It would be facing out at the courtyard and I'm thinking large arms and hands perching itself (one hand on each awning). I want this thing to be big and really catch the attention of the TOT's. I hate to say it but with a week left, I want it to be the showcase of the haunt. I know I'm asking a lot and probably won't get what I really want but I may be able to produce something under pressure.
Here is the spot I'm referring to. You can see I have plenty of room both width and height wise. Please help me with any ideas that might work in this area. Also, I'm trying to really stick to the overall theme, so no scary clowns or anything like that.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

That would be a great spot to place a skeleton gun slinger. Have him look like he's ready to draw and standing next to a wanted poster with his picture on it.
Great job with the ghost town sets. It looks awesome!

I'm thinking I want this prop suspended so you actually walk underneath it when on the boardwalk, that's why I wanted the hands perched so they're holding himself up, hovering over that large opening.
Great idea though and this is why I asked this group because I'm sure to get some terrific ideas on what to do. Then it just comes down to proper execution!
Thanks!

If time is a problem I'd get a large store-bought ghoul and throw a cowboy hat on him. Walgreens had some fairly decent ones for about $20. Love your ghost town display!
Undead and loving it!

This is sort of what I had in mind but picture the elbows being higher up in the air because the head is lowered quite a bit (between the awnings, post top level). I like the size of it and want it really menacing (large).

I'm wondering if I can use PVC pipe for the body frame and just find a really kick-a$$ skeleton mask that is large enough. Then I just need to figure out the large hands.

Flying crank ghost or a hangman would look good there.

I think I'm going to jump in and make the body with scrap materials (boards, PVC pipe etc..) and get some spray foam for exposed body parts and then paint/highlight. The only issue I think will be the head and I may look around at all the stores to see if they have anything that may fit my needs (cost and size). If not, then I guess I need to get really creative on making my own.

I was gunna say make a figure with cheese cloth. on it. I made a reaper thing to hang on my tree couple years ago. The cheesecloth was died a grayish purple colour. I spray over with some flat black and it darkened it up nicely!
