I just stumbled upon these uber cool flameless candles. Unfortunately they are also really expensive. I am hoping that with all of the incredible talent here, someone might be able to figure out to replicate them!

I think a large majority of us have all made versions of the pvc candle: PVC Flicker Candles

The led votives can be found in packs of 4 and 6 at dollar tree, walmart or walgreens. I have had mine for a couple years now. The trick is clean cuts to the pvc.

Those are nice, but these are way better.

I've bought a dozen of them.

I've been collecting mine all year from Hobby Lobby when they go on sale for 1/2 price. Flameless, flickering, LED. They're still around $8-$10, depending on the size. Plus, they smell really good. Have found some at Target, too! They use the AA batteries, too. Love mine!!
I have a couple to spare, so when you come over (hint. hint, lol), the halloweenlady, you are welcome to them!!

oh, just a sidenote: I made the PVC candles last year too. Put them outside halloween night... in the rain.. (cause I ain't too smart) and the metal part near the battery rusted, making the tealight un-usable again. Plus, those little tealight batteries are very expensive. Way cheaper just to buy another tealight.
But, the Hobby Lobby candles look like real wax candles, so I went that route. And they won't be going outside if it's raining. LOL

Michaels has the tea light batteries (standard LR44/AG13) in a six pack for .99 in their floral section. Though I think they may have increased it to 1.29.

You can also get giant 50+ battery sheets of it online for $4-5. Here's one:

I occasionally get these and the edge of a pack will be corroded or rusted but it's still a good deal even if 25% of them are unusable.

Halloween lady, those candles are totally cool!! I made some LED candles myself (see link below), but those are the most realistic non-candle candles I have ever seen. But for my small graveyard cemetery scene, they would be WAY too expensive. But very cool though, thanks for posting.

    Making some easy LED candles.......

Although they are expensive, I ordered some last week as they are based on technology developed for The Haunted Mansion, and look to be the most realistic flameless candles around. I'll post my review when I receive them.
