Here are a couple of angles for the front of my house. I'm going to convert it to a graveyard haunt (the tombs right now are rough draft, no props, lights or anything has been set up yet). I've never used fog machines. Will have one Chauvet 900 (+trash can chiller mod) + one 400W Spirit Ground fogger to work with.

If I want to cover the most area where do you guys think i should place them?
The L sidewalk on left side of images 02 and 03 are where trick or treaters will be going through to stop by.

I really think it depends on wind conditions. I try to keep my machines close to the house and run my fog through the corrugated irrigation pipe. Gives the fog a nice even coverage. But depending on the wind, you may have to move it accordingly.

    Bob nailed it.

I usually end up moving my Superfogger a couple times on Halloween to keep up with the wind direction.

    Good Luck

Good points. Perhaps I should put up a flag o something for wind direction. If i have to move it forward off my porch, should I put the machine on the ground or raise it a bit?

If the ground is dry, don't worry about it, but try and make it level

I also vote for using the irrigation pipe. You get a much wider, more even coverage with it. Works great!
I wish everyone was as kind as creepycathy!
