Anyone know the best place to get prop medical supplies. I need some blood bags but I want authentic looking ones. Thanks!

I'm not sure if they have them again this year but the Dollar stores here had these neat looking blood bags last season.
As I was going up the stair, I saw a man that wasn't there.
He wasn't there again today...Oh how I wish he'd go away.

Well if you know anyone in the medical field the may be able to acquire one for you. As for near real looking, you can get the candy blood bags at rite-aid. they are $1.50 each and look great with the I-V line attached. Best of luck to ya!
A Halloween prop is a terrible thing to waste..

Find a friend in the medical field. You might be able to ask local pharmacies as well. Those saline IV bags have expiration dates - if they go past date, they have to trash them.

Spirit has blood bags that are filled with cherry candy. Looked pretty good to me.

Giant syringes with giant needles are always fun. You can usually find them in the grocery store as BBQ injectors.

I guess I'm lucky. I work in an ER. Real blood bags are only available to me used. I really don't think you want that. Better off with an unused one. Candy ones may be your best bet.

Hmmm, now you guys have really thinking. Thanks for the tips. I think now I may put drinks in them all over the place. That is if I can get my hands on them.

Halloween city had a "mad scientist laboratory" IV drip (clear cylinder) with aquarium tubing for serving drinks. It looked cool on the box but the plastic for the container was so thin and brittle the display was already broken. Been thinking about creating my own with a glass or hard acrylic tub but I'd have to find food grade silicone sealant to attach the tubing to it.

My cat gets sub-Q fluids from an IV bag.....I've been tossing them once empty, but I guess I should start saving them if people want them for props.
They have an open hole in the bottom that one would need to figure out how to plug once re-filled.
