I more or less finished this one today. This is my 2nd attempt. Not as cool as my hangman, and the spider isn't awesome, but in the dark it'll be cool I think.

Want to make it faster but I can't.

I have one 12V, 4.5 amp plug to work my hangman.
    The rest,

    I have a
    9V, 2A
    5V, 2A
    and a 6V, 1A

The one running the legs is the 9V, 2A but the thing won't move the motor in high speed only low speed. Its a Saturn Wiper so I know I have the right leads ... I just think the wall wart won't let it run cause the 12v for my hangman works it great. Need to invest in some good ones from monster guts. That's what I get for trying the cheap way 8)

Is how I did the legs. Not sure if this was the best way. The pivot point is a bit wonky, but it works.
The funny part the damn thing actually runs away from me. I have to anchor it down or it'll move a
good foot in a minute or so.

Thanks for posting the mechanism for it. I was trying to envision how it was done, and just couldn't. Maybe you should put it on a teather and let it roam around in a circle on Halloween night!
